Our teas are made from black, green, or oolong tea leaves cultivated at high altitudes in agriculturally conducive climates. Ready-to-drink sales of iced tea in the United States continue to climb, reportedly up 13.7% through May 8, 1999. New "functional" teas are created on a regular basis in our laboratory. Natural fruit flavors are especially formulated to enhance the strong tea flavor with a true fruit top note, allowing the refreshing profile of the tea to blossom. Templar teas are a source of natural food chemicals known as catechins or polyphenols; these are believed to help prevent cancer, heart disease and high blood pressure. Scientists qualify the value of these food chemicals by determining their quantity, quality, and absorption rate into the body. We respond to market demand and regional preference easily.
